Welcome to Music Illawarra!
Music Illawarra is a not-for-profit music club based in Wollongong, NSW, Australia.
The club was started in 1973 and recently celebrated its 35th birthday! Music Illawarra aims to promote the appreciation and performance of (mostly) art music, at local venues and at a reasonable cost to the audience.
The club also encourages young performers to take their talent to the stage from a very early age. This is achieved through the organisation of competitions, young performers' concerts, masterclasses, etc. Music Illawarra aims for excellence, enjoyment and encouragement of fine music, both vocal and instrumental.
Members of Music Illawarra include music lovers from all walks of life. To be a member of the club, you do not have to be a performer. Any music lover of any age is welcome to sign up.
